Global Institute of Leadership and Sustainable Economics collaborates with individuals to form private, independent and government schools at primary, secondary and university levels in developing countries. WE encourage and support the start-up and assistance of schools in both city and village communities in Africa. G of L Institute partners with schools in Africa and distributes resources: donates school supplies, teacher training, technical services, access to resources, and also recruits volunteer teachers to enhance learning experience.
One reason we at Global Hand Incorporated focus on the support and establishment of affordable or no cost primary education institutions in Africa is to increase literacy (help children and adults learn to read and write). Education is an important first step towards increasing awareness and providing a learning foundation. Scholar Program
Many of our students at EPIAD in 2006 attended school for the first time. Some were as old as 12 years old and had little formal education before EPIAD. Keeping fees minimal is a strategy to halt ILLITERACY and increase access to education among children. Parents were very excited seeing their children with book bags and school uniforms for the first time. Heretofore, these parents feared their children would never have an opportunity to be schooled in a formal setting! Remember children always learn informally, as PARENTS ARE THEIR FIRST TEACHERS!
Scholarship programs provide opportunities for children to attend school for the VERY FIRST TIME! These children would remain unable to read and write without YOUR gifts! For more info.....

My Village Our World: My VOW realizes that there is great potential just waiting to be developed in Africa. MY VOW works to support resource development towards poverty alleviation ‘one village at a time’.
The mission of My VOW is to secure the resources of Africa for the development of a sustainable Africa and a sustainable world ‘ one village at a time.”
2007: Development of a poverty alleviation program in Mali linking five villages in Mali and multilaterally to a grant for Poverty alleviation utilizing Agricultural development.
